In Memory
Gold Bar was used for backcountry trail, Mounted Drill
Team, Mounted Search & Rescue, parades, and chased a few cows. He
even went to a few local shows. A versatile Quarter Horse.
In his "previous life", Gold Bar was a stallion until he was
12 years old. While he was a stallion, he was often ridden by his owner on
the ranch, in the mountains, and in parades.
Gold Bar was retired in his early 20's due to failing
vision. He shared pasture with his herd buddies for about 7 years before
other health issues became critical to his physical comfort and quality of
life.
