Bob (paternal grandfather) is trying desperately
to control the bucking bronco while Jade is poised for the horse's
next move in her wild ride. We're still waiting for the doctor's
report to explain Jade's sudden - and temporary - growth of two
extra legs that reach the ground … legs that look just like
someone else's in the family! <grin>
"Joe" is a registered Quarter
Horse, owned and ridden by a fellow Posse member. Several days
a week Joe works on a cattle ranch. He also calmly carries his
"retired" owner in local parades, for mounted Search
And Rescue, and during trips into the back country. On this day
the Posse was at a local event, providing horses for a Pony Ride
as a fundraiser.
This isn't Jade's first ride on a horse,
but it is the first ride where someone had a camera handy to record
the event.
